Hey Y'all! I'm Sarah-Laney, a born and raised gal from South Carolina, USA; I like to think I've always had a creative mind and spirit. Even my parents will say I began my photography journey at the early age of two. With a passion for design growing up, I obtained an architectural engineering degree in college. With that knowledge and skill, I began to pursue my dreams of photography and design.
When I'm not running a business, you can find me spending time with my husband, who I met in kindergarten and married 20 years later in 2015, aren't we just so cute? It was he who encouraged me to go out and create a photography business. If I'm not with my husband then you can typically find me spending time with either family or friends, being adventurous by traveling and exploring with my trusty camera, or you just may locate me on the sofa at home curled up with a good book and my spoiled dogs, Hippie, Sophia, Stryker, and Stella. Yes they have their own little Instapage!

The First Date Experience - Let's Talk
I don’t believe that wedding photography and videography is one-size-fits-all! I know that those who choose Sweet Southern Creations are unique and I work hard to provide that incredible Sweet Southern EXPERIENCE! The first step towards working with me is determining if I am the perfect fit for you! After getting to know you online, I will determine if we are the right fit and then we’ll move on to the booking process.

Facebook Official - The Booking
Yayy! We've decided to work together, we are Facebook Official in the eyes of the creative world. Now let’s make sure your date is safe and secure so that we can make this official status last. I will send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your package and pay your deposit to make everything officially official. Now that we have both made it official, it’s time to get started. Let the fun begin!

Meeting the Family - The Engagement Session
Let the fun begin! I will schedule your engagement session. After your engagement session, you’ll be featured on the Sweet Southern Creations Facebook Page and Blog. You will also be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish. Trust me, this is easier than meeting the parents for the first time, after the first 20 minutes the nerves will be gone. I strive at helping our couples get comfortable and feel like themselves.

Her Moment - Bridal Portrait Session
Bridal portraits are a southern tradition where brides get all done up, hair, make up, flowers, the whole works, to take pictures a few weeks before the wedding. This session is all about the bride, and we can take our time as a team to really get the detail shots you, the bride, want. This is also a great way for the brides to see what about their dress, flowers, etc they would like to change before their big day.

The Big Day - Wedding Day
It’s finally here! It’s time to celebrate, relax, and let my team and I get to work. This day is going to be a blur to you and so I make it a priority to capture the traditional shots that every wedding couple needs while also capturing the moments in between. After your wedding day, you’ll be featured on the Sweet Southern Creations Facebook Page and will also be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish.
